Halcyon Foundation
The Halcyon Foundation, founded in New York by Dallas
Pratt in 1957, is the United States governing body of
the American Museum in Britain. Halcyon raises funds
for the museum in the U.S. and disburses both raised
funds and interest from its own endowment to support
the museum and its activities.
U.S. donors should make contributions directly to the
Halcyon Foundation in order to obtain
U.S. tax deductions. Halcyon is a publicly
supported Section 501 (c)(3) organization. U.K.
donors can make their contributions directly to the
American
Museum in Britain.
