The American Arboretum
This is the only arboretum devoted to American trees
and shrubs in Great Britain. It contains examples of
Early American apples, such as Roxbury Russet (dating
back to the 1630s) as well as fine specimens of Black
Walnut and the Giant Redwood.
The Arboretum is nestled below the main lawn, and
incorporates many of the old walkways and paths of
the manor’s existing grounds.
