Christmas at the American Museum & Gardens
Step into Christmas at the American Museum & Gardens, where the Georgian Manor House will be filled with decorations handmade by the Museum’s talented volunteers. At its heart will be a spectacular 17-foot Nordmann fir tree from Langford Lakes in Somerset. On festive weekends in December, the Courage Choir will fill the house with carols. Take time, too, for a winter walk through the gardens, a browse in the Gallery Shop and a seasonal treat from the Deli.
Christmas shopping begins with the Gloucestershire Guild Craft Fair on 21–22 November, bringing together makers of contemporary jewellery, ceramics, textiles and glass. In December, jazz favourite Clare Teal returns with her Festive Fiesta on 4 and 5 December, while The Three Inch Fools bring Dickens’s A Christmas Carol to life with music, illusion and storytelling on 8–10 December.
Whether you’re looking for a special gift, a family day out or an evening to remember, there’s plenty to enjoy at the American Museum & Gardens this Christmas.
