Summer Party
6 July | 10am–6pm
Join us for a fantastic day out celebrating our exciting new space exhibition, American Independence Day, and all things summer in our incredible gardens.
With fabulous live music:
Jonnie Melancholy & the Sad Cowboys, 10.30–11.30am, and 12–1pm
Crossing the Rockies, 2.30–3.30pm and 4–5pm
Country line dancing by Blazing Saddles, 1–1.40pm and 2.50–3.30pm
Plus:
BBQ with beef, vegan and pulled pork burgers
KidzFun zone, space activities with Bath Astronomers and lawn games all day
Living history character, Mrs Conkey at 1pm
Face painting, 11am–1pm, and 2–4pm
Visitors can explore the Museum’s fascinating collections in the Manor House, the children’s play area, woodland walk and parkland meadows.
Tickets
Admission to the party is included in general admission tickets for the American Museum & Gardens, which gives entry to the museum, exhibition, gardens and estate, American Garden Deli and gallery shop.

Things you need to know
The event starts at 10am and is due to end by 6pm.
A party BBQ will be serving beef, vegan and pulled pork burgers
Drinks, snacks and lunch will be available to purchase from the American Garden Deli. We politely ask that only alcohol that is purchased at the event is consumed in line with our onsite license requirements.
We are pleased to offer free parking. If the main car park is full, please follow our signs to the additional parking, just a short distance up Claverton Hill from the main car park.
On arrival, please check in with the ticket office team who will give you more information about your visit.
