Uniform Group Space Day
21 November | 10am – 5pm
The American Museum & Gardens and the Herschel Museum of Astronomy have come together to create a special space badge day for local uniform groups to enjoy. This day experience will support the knowledge needed for achieving a Brownie, Guide, Beaver or Cub Space Badge.
Please note that this event is for Uniform Groups only and all children need to be accompanied by their group leaders.
Your ticket includes the following activity sessions and at the end of the day, you can take home your special badge:
The Herschel Museum Planetarium show (50 mins)
Our fabulous and fun Beyond Infinity space exhibition (45 mins)
An activities session playing with the universe expansion, BIG Bingo numbers and seeing how our solar system links with life on earth (30 mins)
Plus, enjoyment of the American Museum and Gardens
Schedules
Please take note of the schedules below to see which time slot you would like to book. The time slot you select refers to the timings of the Planetarium, not your starting time. You are welcome to come any time before the start of your schedule; our site opens at 10am. You are also welcome to stay until 5pm, when the site closes.

Once you have selected your preferred time slot, please book your tickets below. You will be sent an accompanying information sheet for details of the group schedules after your have booked. We recommend you bring a picnic lunch which you can have in our Mulberry room if the weather is poor. Please note that our Beyond Infinity exhibition and museum site and gardens are open to the public all day.
