Become a member of our US Friends

Do you live in the USA and would like to become a Friend? We have a special Friends membership for quilt enthusiasts, where content and activities are tailored to the spectacular quilts and textiles in the museum’s collection.

Benefits of US Friends membership include:

• Free entry to the American Museum & Gardens, including special exhibitions

• Monthly bulletin and quarterly e-newsletter

• Exclusive member events and communities, including special textile collection tours

• Priority booking for public events 

• Friends at the Joint/Family level and above are enrolled in the Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM), which gives complimentary admission to more than 550 museums across the US – see participating museums. Upon presentation of a valid membership card while visiting one of the museums listed, you are entitled to the following privileges:

  • Free admission during regular museum hours

  • A discount on purchases in the art and bookshops at participating museums

  • Ticketed exhibitions and special events are not included and may carry an admission fee

• Friends at the Patron level also have the opportunity to host clients/friends in our unique historic venue with 20% discount, plus more
