New grant award

We’re delighted to share that the American Museum & Gardens has been awarded a grant to replace display lighting in Perley Parlor/Pewter Corridor and 17th Century period rooms. This grant was awarded by Museum Development South West (MDSW), with thanks to support from Arts Council England, under their Small Open Grant scheme for Environmental Responsibility. The current lighting will be replaced by LED lighting which is both less damaging to the collection objects and cheaper to run.
