The fantastic Mini Police

Last week, the American Museum & Gardens was delighted to host a visit from the Mini Police from Peasedown St John. The children used their forest school skills and created a magnificent dead hedge bug hotel in our parkland. They also welcomed special VIPS all the way from America and talked to them about why they wanted to be a part of the Mini Police.

We’re proud to support the Mini Police programme as part of our ongoing community engagement initiatives, in collaboration with Avon and Somerset Police and Peasedown St John Primary School. The American Museum & Gardens has proudly backed this initiative for over four years, providing a day out to reward the children, covering the cost of coach travel and treating every child to a free ice cream during their visit. It’s part of our way of helping to inspire the next generation of community champions.

A special thank you to Avon & Somerset Police, Peasedown St John Primary School and the Mini Police – we look forward to welcoming you again soon.
