A patchwork of people and place
Thursday 9th or 16 July | 2pm - 4pm
The ‘Bath Patchwork Project ’26', curated by the Bath Artist Studios, in partnership with The American Museum & Gardens invites you to collaborate on this collective artwork that will act as a textile-based time capsule - gathering shared stories, identities, and connections across the city at this moment in time.
What to expect
A teacher-led workshop where you will learn how to hand-stitch your name onto fabric. You can also share your hand-written hopes or thoughts onto paper that will be incorporated into the reverse side of the patchwork.
The workshop will encourage conversations, where you can learn a new skill and be part of an ambitious community project. No experience needed - just come as you are.
All materials will be provided.
