Heritage Open Day

On Heritage open day, visit our spectacular gardens and American Garden Deli for free (there is a small admission fee to enter the museum and exhibition). It’s the perfect time to experience our late summer gardens with family and friends.
The American Museum & Gardens is a unique estate on the Bath skyline, just ten minutes from the city. Home to American stories, decorative arts, folk art and textiles, acres of wildlife-friendly gardens and deli with its scenic terrace. There are exciting special exhibitions, events and activities for all, including a children’s play area. On Heritage Open Day 2025, the special exhibition to visit is Beyond Infinity: American Space Exploration.
With valley views and a stunning planting design, the gardens are one of the best in the South West, while the Museum cares for American arts and heritage, with collections that are some of the most significant in Europe.
