Creative Writing for Young People (Ages 9–18)

Starts 8 September | 10 week course
Discover the power of creative writing in this exciting new 10-week course for young people, delivered in partnership with Theatre Royal Bath.
Led by a professional theatre-maker and writer, with contributions from special guests, participants will enjoy exclusive access to the Museum's collections, using them as inspiration for their own original writing. The course culminates in a celebratory sharing on 28 November, where selected pieces will then be displayed within the Museum itself.
Sessions take place in the Coach House and Stables providing a unique and inspiring setting for creativity, exploration and collaboration.
Course Details
Course dates: 8, 15, 22 & 29 September; 6, 13 & 20 October; 3, 10 & 17 November.
Creative Writing (Ages 9–13): 5.00pm–6.30pm
Creative Writing (Ages 14–18): 6.45pm–8.15pm
Wonderfund Bursaries
Thanks to the Wonderfund, bursary places are available for all Theatre Royal Bath Theatre School workshops, helping young people get creative, build confidence and be part of something special.
Things you need to know
Each session will run on a Tuesday, 9-13s (5pm - 6.30pm) & 14-18s (6.45pm - 8.15pm)
Term dates: 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th September, 6th, 13th, 20th October, 3rd, 10th & 17th November.
There is free parking in the main car park.
