How can one show possibly contain so much action and adventure? Elementary, my dear! The critically-acclaimed Pantaloons Theatre Company present a brand-new riff on the fiendishly famous case. Enjoy this summer’s evening of outdoor theatre in our spectacular gardens with valley views.
Will detective duo Holmes and Watson discover the deadly secret of the Baskerville family curse before it strikes again? Or are they barking up the wrong tree? Find out in this delightfully inventive show that will have you yelping with excitement and howling with laugher.
Features live music, audience interaction and more mystery than you can shake a magnifying glass at. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!
Gates open at 5.30pm with a start time of 6.30pm and due to anticipated numbers, this performance will take place on the South Lawn.
The performance will go ahead in all but the most extreme weather event so please make sure you bring appropriate clothing and don’t forget to bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
A bar and BBQ will be available from 5.30pm until the end of the interval so you can grab your supper while you are with us, making for a truly relaxing evening in the stunning setting overlooking the Limpley Stoke Valley.

Things you need to know
Gates open 1 hour before the show starts. Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase before the show begins until the end of the interval .
The theatre performance is on the South Lawn. Bring your own seats or a blanket for your comfort.
On arrival, please check in with the Ticket Office who will give you more information about your visit and direct you to the performance location, which is in the gardens. Please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of the start time to check in and make your way to the location, which is a 5-minute walk from the Ticket Office.
We are pleased to offer free parking. If the main car park is full, please follow our signs to the additional parking, just a short distance up Claverton Hill from the main car park.
Please note that we are a completely non-smoking site.
We politely ask that only alcohol that is purchased at the event is consumed in line with our onsite license requirements.
Please be aware that we are unable to provide a refund unless we close the American Museum & Gardens due to unforeseen circumstances or cancel the event.
