Easter Eggcitement: The Great Garden Hunt
3–19 April
Spring has arrived at the American Museum & Gardens, and with it comes Easter eggcitement.
The Great Garden Hunt
Join us over the Easter school holidays for The Great Garden Hunt, a family trail set among the tulips and springtime blossom. Search the gardens for ten brightly decorated bird tables, each home to a numbered Easter egg. Find them all, complete your trail sheet and collect a prize.
Easter Sunday Egg Hunt
On Easter Sunday, we’ll be adding a little extra eggcitement with a special garden Easter egg hunt. When the gardens open at 10am, a collection of Easter eggs will be hidden across the grounds for visitors to discover throughout the morning. Once all the eggs have been found, the hunt will come to a close*.
Fun for children and grown-ups alike, it’s a cracking way to start the day. We recommend arriving earlier in the morning if you would like to take part.
Alongside the hunts, there’s plenty more to enjoy throughout the Easter holidays:
Great garden hunt trail with Easter gift (£3.50 per trail sheet)
Easter-themed craft activities in the Coach House
America 250 family trail in the Manor House
Explore the colourful exhibition, Kith & Kin: the Quilts of Gee’s Bend
Spring gardens in full bloom
Climb-and-slide children’s play area
Woodland walk
Seasonal treats in the American Deli
Roam our 125 acres of gardens, parkland and woodland - enjoy the quiet spring forests bursting into life and take in the stunning views out to the Cotswold's Area of Outstanding Of Natural Beauty.
